Jamie Pouwhare

“It is rewarding to help people with major decisions in their lives, whether that is purchasing their first home, drafting wills, dealing with probate or entering into significant commercial transactions. I enjoy the personal aspect of commercial law and helping my clients to understand their rights and give them the ability to have confidence in their decisions.

I have been passionate about law from a young age and although I took some time after school to travel the world I knew helping people to solve their legal problems is what I wanted to do. After working in pharmacy for many years, I took the leap and decided to study law. I completed my studies in 2015 and I haven’t looked back since.

I enjoy working and am grateful to have the opportunity to build a career in my home town of Newcastle. Outside of work I love travelling, keeping fit and active and most of all spending time with my family, friends and three very energic sons."
