Fiona Johnson

"My main aim is to find each client the best possible solution for their circumstances, and where possible, keep clients out of Court. My clients are often seeing me at a very vulnerable time in their life and it’s important for me to not only advocate for them but support my client’s through this time. The most rewarding part of my job is achieving a resolution while helping someone through a difficult time.

I grew up in country New South Wales and went to university in Armidale. Prior to working as a solicitor I worked for the Department of Human Services for both Centrelink and Child Support across the Hunter and in Sydney. I am grateful that I am able to use the knowledge and skills that I gained at Human Services to provide support and guidance to my clients in these areas.

Prior to joining Braye Cragg I worked in Sydney at a boutique law firm, working solely as a Family Law solicitor. I joined the team at Braye Cragg after making the decision to move back to the Newcastle area.

I am currently completing my Masters of Applied Law (Family Law) and will be graduating later this year. I am also renovating my home where I live with my husband and our two guinea pigs, Chewy and Yoda.  Outside of work I love to travel and I am an avid Formula One fan."
